EDC@SMa was formed from a government grant through SPRING Singapore and SMa. The primary role of the Enterprise Development Centre is to assist Singapore enterprises to develop essential business competencies and adopt best practices throughout their operations so that they be competitive and successful enterprises both domestically and in the global markets.In order to fulfill its role to serve Singapore enterprises, EDC@SMa is organized into four core services as illustrated below:

EDC, in its efforts to reach out to SMEs has the following new initiatives to offer to SMEs:- Financial Facilitator Programme (FFP) for SMEs - receive assistance from EDC@SMa financial advisors for your bank loan applications on government financial assistance schemes. - Providing assistance and application for the Risk Management Assistance Fund (RMAF) to ensure that your company complies with the Workplace Safety & Health Act (2006)
- SMART - Assist in understanding the gaps in your business with funding from SPRING.
